Hey everybody! Welcome to FindFarmFresh – a new online directory for farm-direct sales. I created FindFarmFresh to provide an easily accessible platform for independent, small-scale ag producers to connect with the fast-growing number of consumers who are looking for locally-sourced food.
I come from a long line of farmers and ranchers and now have a small farm of my own. I found myself looking for a place to connect with customers who are searching for the delicious and nutritious home-grown foods we enjoy as ag producers – home-raised beef and other meats, fresh fruits and veggies, baked goods and other cottage food items, and more. Traditionally these goods are found possibly at local farmers markets, or more often, by asking around until somebody says “Hey, I know a guy…” but with a growing family of my own I just didn’t have the time to build my business that way. I couldn’t find any platform that was efficient or that allowed me to run my business how I wanted. So, I decided I would just make one myself, and FindFarmFresh was born.
The goal of FindFarmFresh is to allow consumers to easily connect with ag producers in their area to buy the local farm-fresh foods they want, while also boosting the marketing power and accessibility of independent producers, to support the local farmers and ranchers who are the backbone of our country. I hope this is a place where communities can grow and ag producers can find thriving markets for their goods.

Customers are able to find local producers by using our search engine platform absolutely free. All independent producers are invited to publicize their information in our listings at no cost.
At FindFarmFresh, supporting and encouraging local farm-direct business is our primary goal, and for that reason our services are freely available for all users.
Simply input your location, desired distance/range, and select the good(s) your are looking for and hit Search. FindFarmFresh will pull from its extensive network of listings to find producers in your area with the goods you’re looking for.
FindFarmFresh is focused providing a marketplace for farm-direct foods. Our primary good-categories are: direct-sale beef and other meats, fresh eggs, produce and flowers, locally produced dairy, honey, and cottage foods (including baked goods, jams/jellies, etc). Also, as is the case at physical farmers markets, there is a place for other locally-sourced and independently produced non-food items, which would be found under our “Handmade Goods” section.
The only restriction of using our marketplace is that all goods should be sold directly from the producer to the consumer. We are not a place for corporate and large-scale sales venues. However, we do welcome independent stores/sellers that provide a physical location for the sale of local goods, such as farmers-market grocers and other ag stores that also sell independently produced goods. (For example, Page Outdoors in Eastland, Carbon Ag in Carbon, Sligers Produce in Brownwood, and other non-corporate stores who focus on selling locally sourced goods.)
All business transactions are completely private and independently conducted between customers and sellers. FindFarmFresh is not an online store or transaction platform. We aim to provide connections for independent business transactions – think of us as an online parking lot for a 24/7 farmers market.
